Brown dog in the rain.Tra la la la la.

Sunday was very wet and the park was very empty.

This was a lot wetter than it looks.

Diesel likes the rain and he likes having the park to himself.

This tree was cut down months ago.

It is still growing and so is it's stump.

Even in the rain Diesel finds rabbits.

He likes to chase moorhens too.

Jake and Dylan have not seen Diesel since his stitches were removed.

They have not been around because their car caught fire.

Some women will do anything to meet firemen.

Shouldn't Dylan have that ball?

Diesel the devildog.

Jake is very handsome.

Someone had a fortieth birthday and lost their balloon.

It floated down from high above into the park.

And somehow ended up tied to Diesel's collar.

The boys soon made sure the balloon would never fly away again.

Dylan found a new alternative to balls.

Jake and Diesel did their full effect play fighting for the first time in two weeks.

They click their teeth, pull faces and grunt like pigs when they play.

Dylan, one for the ladies, you know who you are.

The boys had a swim to clean off the mud before they went home.

Yup. Redgirls know who "they" are. And yup redgirls are in LURVE. With Dylan. Who is out of the loop. We recognise a labman with only one thing on his mind. Usually his ball. Today a ring thing. We like a man with focus.

Now. Di says to Anthony. Mustang Sally. Brown Girl in the Ring. Goodness Gracious Us. Well either Anthony has incredibly eclectic musical tastes. OR. He's been raiding his Dad's vinyls. OR ??

Hello Redgirls,
I know what you want and I know how to get it.
There are lots of pictures of Dylan just waiting to be published.
But what if he were to have an unfortunate accident while, say, retreiving a ball from infront of a train?
I would be happy to console you.
Anthony says the first record he bought was a T-Rex album, does that count as eclectic?

Diesel.

Diesel!! Naughty boy !!Imagine even THINKING about a nasty accident befalling the lovely Dylan. Have you been reading some horrid boy books?? We are slapping your wrists.

(but ps of course our marriage plans do centre exclusively on red men)

Di (who is now revealing her elderliness)says to Anthony T-Rex good. But not eclectic. Di's nearly first album was Jimi Hendrix "Are You Experienced" (weird title yes?)Di still has that embarassing old vinyl and has foraged for it and dug it out of the cupboard. And tonight will probably play it. For old (!) times sake.

Redgirls say oh please don't let our friends drop by !! TOO embarassing.

Hello Redgirls,
I am far too sweet and innocent to do anything nasty to Dylan.
Besides,I am sure Socks would be happy to oblige.
Anthony is currently spluttering "T-Rex,not eclectic,in 1988 when the world was doing the Locomotion with Kylie, before she became acceptable in polite society?"
Apparently Anthony's dad used to work with someone called Pete Waterman, whoever he is.
He is currently trying to work out how he can use "Purple Haze" as a blog title, apparently "Crosstown Traffic" is being saved for my next car trip.

Ahh. We knew it would be a dad thing.

Except. T-rex was 60s. Not 80s. Di wonders if Anthony's memory is playing tricks ??

So now we don't know if it is a dad thing after all.

Purple Haze. You need some heather.

Hello Redgirls,
Anthony says technically T-Rex was 1970s,Tyrannosaurus Rex was 1960s.
He bought his first album in 1988,his explaination for this included clock radios,Chorlton and the Wheelies and a rant about Jason Donovan and house music.
Personally I think he has been drinking.
